The following Activities can be done after the show.
Activity 1- Coat of Arms

Instructions:
Reflecting upon their experience at Medieval Times, each student will be given the choice of which status they would like to occupy in Medieval society. Students are then required to make a coat of arms that represent the values and morals of which represent their families’s social status of which they have chosen (that reflects the way in which exemplify their families’ social status).

- describe the hierarchical structure of medieval society and the types of people in it

- compare aspects of life in a medieval community and their own community
- make connections between social or environmental concerns of medieval times and similar concerns today
- use media works, oral presentations, written notes and descriptions, and drawings to communicate information about life in medieval society
- use primary and secondary sources to locate information about medieval civilizations

- Observing this artifacts tells me this about Medieval Times (e.g., the roles of people, design, technology, economics and other aspects).
- How is your artifact similar to one used in your society?
- Based on your research on the artifact and your knowledge od the present day artifact, explain how Medieval Society has influenced Western Society.
- If Student understands the uses of Medieval Artifact and Western day artifact.
- If student can explain/communicate thoroughly how why objects are used.
