The Medieval Times provides many services for educational purposes. The following is a copy of the Package teachers can request prior to booking their field trip:

NEW – Drama Program
The elements of drama will pull your students into the performance.
NEW – En Français s’il vous plait! – Elémentaire & Secondaire
Certain performances offer French meal service with your Serf or Wench addressing your group en Français as lunch is served. Pride swells as the students enjoy the opportunity to practice their bilingualism in a context outside of the classroom. Following the performance, our Princess will greet your group in a French question and answer session from 1:15 – 1:45pm. PROGRAM OFFERED NOVEMBER 29, DECEMBER 6, Select dates through April.
NEW: Science & Technology Exhibit – Grade 4 Pulleys & Gears, Grade 5 Forces Acting on Structures & Mechanisms, Grade 7 Form & Function, Grade 8 Systems in Action, Understanding Matter & Energy: Fluids
In this new exhibit students will have the exciting opportunity to view numerous working replica models of medieval structures and machines. This self guided tour provides students with an understanding that medieval society depended on a great number and variety of structures such as “siege machines” or “water-raising machines”. A detailed program guide developed by a teacher for this unique 18 piece exhibit will be issued on site and provides key concepts, vocabulary and discussion questions for the teacher. PROGRAM OFFERED MARCH 20 THROUGH MAY 10
NEW: The Business of Chivalry – Business Studies Full Day Secondary Program
Curriculum Connections in: BB11/2O, BDI3C, BDP3O, BDV4O, BMI3C, BMX3E, BOH4M and BOG4E
Course offered from 9:30am-2:30pm and includes full lunch and show. Topics covered include marketing, human resources, customer service. PROGRAM OFFERED FEB 7, 28, MARCH 7 – Limited space, book early!

- Identify the daily aspects of life for men, women and children
- Develop an understanding of the hierarchal structure and analyze the various roles members in this social order
- Discover connections to the world they live in today and the influences this historical time period had on our own society
NEW – Drama Program
The elements of drama will pull your students into the performance.
- Discovering the story through different perspectives, the class will witness skills and techniques used by the Actors to communicate feelings and idea
- Question and answer session following the performance with members of our Cast. This becomes an excellent opportunity for them to reflect on the performance and respond to the dramatic experience.
- The Actors are happy to discuss the production of the show, the story line itself or their own personal experiences as Actors in a vibrant industry here in Toronto. This segment is also available in FRENCH with a French Princess. We are happy to provide teachers with a handout to act as a resource for dramatic studies in the classroom.
